She is a certified teacher of the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild (OHCG). Marie has served on the OHCG Board in a variety of positions and has sat on the teacher training committee since 1992. She is known for her shading pieces but really enjoys working with details in all rugs. Many of her pieces have won awards. Marie teaches in her home and at workshops.
